Here at Taste we make everything from scratch. We have our own recipes for our seasonal syrups, our own popular chai blend and our special Belgian Chocolate Mocha Mix. We believe that details matter!

New Owners, married couple Ayla Owens and Michael Clarke, bought Taste Coffee in 2019. British born, Michael Clarke has been in specialty coffee for close to a decade and prides himself on his comprehensive knowledge and passion for making the best cup of coffee. Ayla Owens, a Durango local since 2005, has an Honors Degree in Business. Ayla met Mike before studying Business in Edinburgh, Scotland. Ayla’s experience in business and Mike’s coffee expertise makes for a match made in heaven. Both are passionate about serving their community with more than just beverages, but with a noteworthy experience.
